1. General Information

In the event that the artist performs with a live vocalist, as agreed in the contract, it is mandatory that the venue/promoter provides a professional In-Ear Monitoring (IEM) system meeting the following specifications.
All equipment must be tested and fully functional before soundcheck.

MICROPHONE, IEM & STAGE MONITORING
1. PERSONAL IN-EAR MONITORING SYSTEM (IEM)

The vocalist requires a professional stereo wireless In-Ear Monitoring system.

Preferred Equipment:

1 x Sennheiser EW G4 IEM system
Stereo In-Ear Monitoring pack

Alternative Equipment:
Equivalent professional systems from recognised brands are acceptable, provided they offer comparable or superior audio quality, RF stability, reliability and performance.

The IEM system must be fully operational, frequency-coordinated and tested prior to soundcheck.

2. WIRELESS VOCAL MICROPHONE

Quantity: 1

Preferred Equipment:

1 x Sennheiser EW 500 G4 wireless vocal microphone
Professional handheld transmitter

Alternative Equipment:
Equivalent professional wireless microphone systems are acceptable, provided they meet professional standards for audio quality, RF stability and reliability.

The microphone must be frequency-coordinated, tested and ready for use prior to the vocalist’s soundcheck.

3. STAGE MONITORS

Quantity: 2

The vocalist requires two professional 15-inch stage monitors suitable for live vocal performance.

Preferred Equipment:

2 x NEXO PS15 or equivalent
Minimum recommended power: 4,000 W per monitor

The monitoring system must provide:

Clear and intelligible vocal reproduction.
Sufficient headroom for live performance.
Controlled and powerful low-frequency response.
Clear mid and high frequencies.
Low distortion at performance levels.

Alternative Equipment:
Equivalent professional brands are acceptable provided they offer comparable or superior power, clarity, headroom and overall performance.

The two monitors must be positioned appropriately for the vocalist and independently controlled by the sound engineer.

4. DIGITAL MIXING CONSOLE

Preferred Equipment:

Midas M32R Live

Alternative Equipment:

Allen & Heath SQ-5

Equivalent professional digital mixing consoles may be accepted provided they offer sufficient inputs, outputs, routing and processing for the complete vocal monitoring and microphone setup.

5. IEM / WIRELESS RACK

Where a dedicated wireless rack is required, the preferred configuration is:

4 x professional IEM systems — Sennheiser PMS 900 or equivalent
1 x Shure Beta 58 wireless microphone
Professional antenna distribution and RF management where required.
Full frequency coordination prior to soundcheck.

All wireless equipment must operate on legally permitted frequencies and be professionally coordinated for the venue.

6. SOUND & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

All equipment must be:

Professionally maintained.
Fully operational.
Installed and tested before the vocalist’s soundcheck.
Professionally configured and frequency-coordinated where applicable.

A qualified sound engineer must be available during soundcheck and the performance.

Any substitution of the equipment specified in this rider must be communicated and approved in advance by the artist’s technical representative.

The equipment listed above represents the preferred professional standard for the vocalist’s live performance.
